Amanda Edwards is a shareholder and one of the founding attorneys at Edwards & Edwards, PA. She practices in the areas of Criminal Defense, Injunctions for Protection, Animal Law, Landlord/Tenant, Foreclosure, Family Law, and General Civil Litigation.
Ms. Edwards is admitted to the Florida Bar and U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is also a member of The Criminal Law and Animal Law Sections of the Florida Bar, Member of Business Networking International, Jacksonville Bar Association, St. Johns County Bar Association, and Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice before enrolling and graduating from Florida Coastal School of Law.
Ms. Edwards made the decision to pursue her law degree after being selected as a juror in a case involving a week-long trial. She loved every second of the experience and, at 19 years old, decided to pursue a career in law. Ms. Edwards began working as an attorney for Legal Aid, then moved to a position as an associate at a private firm before co-founding Edwards & Edwards, PA.
She lives in Jacksonville with her two rescue dogs. Ms. Edwards has a passion for helping animals and humans alike. She volunteers with animal rescue programs as well as St. Johns County and Jacksonville Legal Aid offices. Ms. Edwards enjoys Gator Football, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
